Wilma Sarah Jones

Wilma Sarah Mullins Jones passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011 at her residence in Apahce Junction, AZ. She was born May 28, 1914 to the late Simpson & Sally Mullins in Corinth, MS. She was of the Baptist faith. Ms. Jones was a homemaker who loved her family and home and took special pride in working tirelessly in her garden tending to her flowers and trees. She was raised and lived in Corinth with annual trips to Arizona where she loved the desert and the old west. She settled in Arizona permanently in 1984 where she resided for the past 28 years. Ms. Jones was privileged to witness many changes in our country’s history. She is survived by her Daughter: Helen Jones Verzura & husband Edward – Apache Junction, AZ Grandchildren( 4): Parke Blankenship & wife Suzanne – Gold Canyon, AZ, Sally Scanelle – Apache Junction, AZ, Leslie Milam & husband Bill – Columbus, MS, Annette Sharp – Apache Junction, AZ Great Grandchildren (7): Elizabeth Hilburn, Lance Milam & wife LaTisha, Lee Milam & wife Heather, Bryan Blankenship, Robert Bynum, Anna Sharp, Clay Sharp U.S. Army Infantry Great Great Grandchildren: (4): Aaron Hilburn, McKenna Milam, Caroline Milam, Sophie Milam Sister: Bernice Austin – Memphis, TN Many Nieces, Nephews, Other Relatives and a host of friends Pallbearers will be Mickey Jones, Benny Jones, Parke Blankenship, Aaron Hilburn & Lee Milam Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Bynum, Lance Milam, Laroyce Jones & Clay Jones U.S. Army Infantry She is welcomed to heaven by her Husband of 53 years: Odis Jones Grandson: John Mashburn Parents: Simpson & Sally Snow Mullins Brothers: Art Mullins, Mart Mullins, Grady Mullins, Orlanda Mullins, Willie Mullins Sisters: Maudie Orcutt, May Duncan, Gracie Wilbanks
