Willie Ray Voyles

Willie Ray Voyles passed away Friday, October 8, 2010 at his residence at the age of 75. Willie Ray was born November 4, 1934 to the late Lee and Georgie Burcham Voyles in Alcorn County, MS. He was a retired factory worker and of the non denominational faith.He loved his family and friends and enjoyed hunting, fishing and swimming with his boys. He loved to travel especially to the mountains with his wife and he enjoyed taking care of his animals. He was a Great husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 59 years: Dorothy Voyles – Glen, MS Sons: Jerry Wayne Voyles – Glen, MS; Monroe Junior Voyles- Ripley, MS Daughters: Dorothy Deloris Voyles, Debra Lynn Knight and Shirley Faye Newbourn and husband Lynn all of Glen, MS 7 Grandchildren – John William Voyles, Tanya Faye Voyles, Will Wayne Voyles, Ginger Marie Voyles, Bradley Shone Voyles, Timothy Lynn Newbourn, Zachery Lynn Newbourn 6 Great Grandchildren: John Voyles, Starla Voyles, Alex Wilbanks, Jake Edmonson, Anna Voyles, Amy Voyles Brothers: Donald Voyles, Bobby Voyles both of Corinth, MS; Billy Joe Voyles and wife Willie Mae – Rienzi, MS Sisters: Ola-V Jackson Farris – Corinth; Demple Bates- Jacinto Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Other Relatives and a host of friends He is preceded in death by his Son: Johnny Ray Voyles Parents: Lee and Georgie Burcham Voyles Brothers: Charles, Roy, Lelon and Leon Voyles
