Willie Lee Stricklin, 76, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died Thursday, April 16, 2015, at North Mississippi Medical Center - Iuka. He was a member of Freedom Baptist Church. He was an inspector for many years at Century Electric and worked as a carpenter building houses. He loved working in his yard and gardening and especially enjoyed fellowshipping with friends at Jacks Restaurant in Corinth. Visitation is scheduled from 5-9 PM on Friday, April 17, 2015 and from Noon till service time on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Magnolia Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM on Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, officiated by Bro. Ricky Johnson, Bro. Jon Haimes and Bro. Bobby Elliott. Interment will follow in Rowland Mills Cemetery. Pallbearers Jay Stricklin, Brian Stricklin, Charlie Cantrell, Nicky McRae, Jimmy Calton and Delaine Whitaker. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife of 58 years: Pauline Stricklin of Burnsville, MS; a son: Jerry Lee Stricklin and wife Carolyn of Burnsville, MS; four grandchildren: Kayla Stricklin, Kristen Stricklin, Jay Stricklin and wife Dora and Brian Stricklin and wife Leslie; five great grandchildren: Gage Stricklin, Nathaniel Ligon, Jayden Stricklin, Kayden Stricklin and Eason Stricklin; other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Coleman and Minnie Elliott Stricklin.
