Willie Ray Eubanks, 71, of Corinth, MS, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015, at his residence. He was born in Weiner, Arkansas on November 21, 1943 to the late Houston and Ollie Bobo Eubanks. Willie was a US Army veteran and retired with 30 years of service as a welder and mechanic with Kings Manufacturing. His passion was music and his family. He was a member of Crossroads Bluegrass which played on Thursday evenings around the Courthouse square and other venues around town. He was honored with a certificate by the town of Adamsville, TN designating Willie Eubanks Day for his contribution to bluegrass music in the local area. Willie requested no funeral or memorial services, but his kind, gentle spirit and humor lives on in all of us. He was surrounded by the love of his family in his last days as he passed on. Those left to honor Willie's memory include his wife of 61 years: Bessy "Vity" Eubanks of Corinth, MS; two daughters: Syndi Eubanks of Corinth, MS and Rene Eubanks of Michie, TN; four grandchildren: Amanda Meeks Boler, Blake Hood, Michael Gray and Justin Hall; two great-grandchildren: Trenton and Keeton Boler, other relatives and a host of friends.
