William "Ken" Walker

Funeral services for William "Ken" Walker, 84, of Corinth are set for 1:00pm on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Magnolia Funeral Home with burial at Dogwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 11:00am until service time at the funeral home. Mr Walker passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Cornerstone Health and Rehab. Ken was born April 1, 1932 in Ripley, MS , he was a sawmill worker and of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include his sons, Sammy Walker and David Walker both of Dumas, MS and Neal Walker of Mattone, IL.; seven grandchildren; brothers, Cecil Walker and wife Brenda of Horn Lake , MS. and Arthur Walker of Walnut, MS; sisters, Nelda Carter of Corinth, Marie Bragg and husband Larry of Corinth, Mary Ruth Mathis of Walnut and Dorothy Latch and husband Mike of Corinth; other relatives and a host of friends. Ken is preceded in death by his wife, Eloise Walker; father, Jasper Newton Walker; mother, Vadie Annie Jane Pannell Walker; brothers, Joe Walker, James Walker and J. E. Walker; and sisters, Eudora Walker, Betty Joyce Walker and Louise Rorie and husband David. Bro. Titus Mathis will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Anthony Burkeens, Robert Brooks, Jason Brooks, Mike Latch, Corey Butler, Tony Asher, and Tim Rorie. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of William "Ken" Walker.
