William Randolph “Randy” Moll, 73 , died at his home in Pickwick Pines Resort, Iuka, MS., on April 8, 2018. He was a member of Pickwick United Methodist Church.
He was born May 1, 1944, the oldest of 5 children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Mary Ann Moll.
Upon graduation from Memphis State University, he worked in retail appliance sales until his retirement. He received an Outstanding General Electric Award for his business. He was active in Stuttgart’s Lion’s Club, Homebuilder’s Association, Chamber of Commerce and a member of the State Board for the American Cancer Society Golf Championship.
Golf was an important part of his life. He won golf championships too numerous to mention such as many Prairie Wings 4 Ball and Stuttgart Country Club championships.
Survivors include his daughters, Shelley Hood and Monica Wang; grandchildren; his brother, Dudley Moll; sisters, Cynthia Keller , Melissa Johnson and Mary Ann Cromwell; and a very special golfing buddy, James Staats.
Mary Ann and Randy lived next to each other at Pickwick Pines Resort and this enabled them to enjoy the past six years together. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Graveside services will be at 11am on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Lone Tree Cemetery in Stuttgart, AR., followed by burial in the cemetery. Dr. David W. Bush from Stuttgart will officiate the service.
Pallbearers will be Sid Cromwell, Jake Winn, Chris Wood, Dudley Moll, Bailey Moll, Matt Clement and James Staats.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
