Willard E. Wilson, 93, of Booneville, MS, passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at The Landmark in Booneville, MS. She was born in Alcorn County, MS on March 24, 1925 to the late William and Alice Bain Hendrix and graduated from Glendale High School in 1944. Willard was a member of Snowdown Church of Christ and will forever be remembered in the hearts of her family and friends. Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 pm Tuesday, September 4, 2018 and from 12 pm till service time Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Snowdown Church of Christ. A celebration of Willard’s life will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Snowdown Church of Christ officiated by Keith Sanders and Don Green. Pallbearers include Chad Wilson, Caleb Wilson, Corey Wilson, Michael Isbell, Danny Hall, and Ryan Wilson. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Willard’s memory include her sons: Donald Wilson of Burnsville and Mike Wilson of Booneville; her daughters: Wanda Isbell (Mike) of Corinth and Hilda Lambert (Rickey) of Iuka; her grandchildren: Beverly Boone, Cheryl Wilbanks (Steven), Michael Isbell (Shenna), Danny Hall, Christy Clement (Duran), Chad Wilson (Misty), Caleb Wilson, Corey Wilson, Jessie Lambert, Michelle Shaw (Denny), and Ryan Wilson; 17 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband of 54 years: Ed Wilson; her son: Bob Wilson; her daughter: Wilma Lynn Wilson; her granddaughter: Jessica Wilson; a great grandson; her brothers: Jordan Hendrix, Worley Hendrix, and Wayne Hendrix; her sisters: Daisy Spencer and Hazel Hendrix.
