Heavens morning breaks and Earth's vain shadows flee...
Wendy Hancock won her battle with breast cancer and now finds sweet rest in the loving arms of her Father, free of the aches and pain of this world. She spent 42 years passing through this world on the way to her true home.
Wendy was born January 25, 1977 to Chuck Ford and Diane Clark. She received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Memphis. She married Brad Hancock on May 16, 2011 and she lived in Corinth, MS raising their two daughters, Delaney and Abigail. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church.
Wendy loved the outdoors and loved to travel. She enjoyed watching wildlife, hiking and reading. Wendy's true passion was children. She loved other children as her own and loved to teach. She had started the process to earn her teaching degree before her illness. She was beautiful, intelligent and outgoing, never meeting a stranger.
She is survived by her husband Brad, two daughters Delaney and Abigail, her mother Lecia Diane Clark, her father Chuck Ford, two sisters Kara Ford and Valerie Ford, two nephews Miles and Leo, two nieces Kadi and Willow and many cousins.
