Rev. Wayne Isbell, 79, of Ramer, TN, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Magnolia Regional Health Center - Corinth, MS. He was born in Alcorn Co, MS on November 24, 1937 to the late Hezzicar and Lizzie Curtis Isbell. Bro. Isbell was a licensed minister of the gospel with the United Pentecostal Church International for 45 years. During this time he founded and pastored Rock Hill United Pentecostal Church. He also served as pastor at Emmanuel United Pentecostal Church and for the last 22 years served as pastor of Eastview United Pentecostal Church. He worked for many years as an insurance agent in the surrounding area. Bro. Isbell spent many happy hours traveling, farming, deer hunting, fishing and playing softball. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He will be forever remembered in the hearts of his family, his church family and his friends. Visitation is scheduled for 5 - 9 pm, Saturday, May 20, 2017 and from 1-3 pm Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Eastview United Pentecostal Church. A home going celebration of Bro. Isbell's life will be held at 3 pm Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Eastview United Pentecostal Church officiated by Rev. Jackie Wilkerson, Rev. Gary Isbell, and Rev. Ron Brown. Interment will follow in Rock Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jody Stennett, Jimmy Hancock, Tracy Marshall, James Isbell, Jr., Jeremy Jones, Michael Crum, James Melson, Josh Gray, and David Curry. Honorary pallbearers include Harold Isbell, Mike Isbell, and Wayne Grisham and the members of the Senior League softball team. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Bro. Isbell's memory include his daughters: Becky Blankenship and husband Gerald of Corinth, MS, Donna Durham and husband Wayne of Corinth, MS, Sherry Callahan and husband Tommy of Guys, TN; his son: Jon Isbell and wife Nena of Corinth, MS; his grandchildren: Emily Grissom, Amber Choate and husband Kyle, Matthew Grissom and wife Anna, Mary Callahan, Ben Callahan and wife Mealea, Austin Isbell, Conner Callahan, and Allen Isbell; his great-grandchild: Gage Grissom; a special family friend: Bryon Parker and his daughter, Lindsey; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife: Glenda Isbell and by his second wife: Barbara Isbell; his son-in-law: Steve Grissom; his brothers: Archie, Charles, James, Roy C., Ernest, Vernest, and Opel Isbell; his sisters: Bernice Byrd, Almedia Curry, and Edna Mae Duncan.
