A Celebration of Life Service for Wayne East, 91, of Corinth, MS will be Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 2PM at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel officiated by Bro. Kevin Absher. Interment will follow in Lenoir City Cemetery in Lenoir City, TN. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 8, 2024 from 12-2 PM at Magnolia Funeral Home - East. Wayne was born in Lenoir City, TN on May 29, 1932 to the late Sam and Evelyn Payne East and passed away at Mississippi Care on May 3, 2024. Wayne was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church and worked as a car dealer in the automotive industry. He served his country as a Sgt with the Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He leaves behind to mourn his passing his sons, Samuel East II (Shaina) and Jordan East; his grandchildren, Samuel III, Tyler, Felicity, Calise, and Levi; his sister, Etta Faye Starnes; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Henry Clay East; and his sister, Marie Davidson.
