A Celebration of Life Service for Bob Helton, 91 of Glen, MS is set for Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 2:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home with Military Honors with burial at Glendale Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 12:00 noon until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Born December 13, 1926 in Riverton, AL, Bob was the C/O owner of Helton Brothers Inc. and retired from the postal service at Glen after 20 years of service. He was a U. S. Navy veteran and a member of Glendale Baptist Church. Bob is survived by his wife of 70 years, Effie Burns Helton of Glen; daughters, Brenda Gunn and husband Michael of Jackson, TN and Bobbie Sitton and husband Danny of Glen; 6 grandchildren, Grant Little, Jenifer Kim and husband Jae, Sabrina Trimble and husband Luke, Scott Bryant, Jessica Harris and Walter Coleman and wife Felicia; great grandchildren, Jaecob Kim, Audrey Kim, Grace Kim, Chase Little, Avery Little, J. Lucus Trimble, Charlie Trimble, Paisley Bryant, Camryn Bryant, James Ethan Harris, Jaiden Harris, Austyn Coleman, Branch Coleman and Fisher Coleman; sisters, Sue Hendrix of Olive Branch and Barbara Parker and husband Artis of Southaven, MS; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Raymond Helton; mother, Lina May Borden Helton and a brother, Raymond Helton. Pallbearers will be Grant Little, Chase Little, Scott Bryant, Walter Coleman, Jae Kim, Luke Trimble, Jaecob Kim and James Ethan Harris. Honorary Pallbearers will be Branch Coleman, Fisher Coleman, J. Lucus Trimble and Charlie Trimble. Bro. Bob Cossey, Bro. Jack Bennett and Bro. John Haimes will officiate the service. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Wallace "Bob" Helton.
