Vivian Bragg Phillips, 85, of Corinth, MS, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Kossuth, MS on May 9, 1935 and graduated from Kossuth High School in 1953. She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church and retired from JCPenney. A private family-only service to celebrate Vivian’s life will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories officiated by Bro. Chris Aday. This service will be live-streamed on Magnolia Funeral Home’s Facebook page. Interment will follow in Farmington Baptist Church Cemetery. Those left to honor Vivian’s memory include her daughters: Susan Phillips Taylor (Billy) and Hope Phillips Hardin (Mark); her grandchildren: Zeb Taylor, Lindsey Taylor Woodruff (Jordan), Ben Hardin, Anna Hardin, and Wyatt Hardin; her great-grandchild: Jase Woodruff; other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Jayda L. (Bud) Phillips; her son: Sammy Jay Phillips; her parents: Jesse J. & Myrtle Leonard Bragg; and by her sisters: Dale Dees & Lois Maricle. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
