Virginia Peters

A Celebration of Life Service for Virginia Peters, 80 of Glen, MS, will be Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment to follow in Dogwood Cemetery.  Rev. Tommy Callahan will officiate the service.  Visitation will be Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 12:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East.  MS Peters passed away, Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at her residence.  She was born January 7, 1943 in Corinth, MS to Clarence Peters and Helen Louise Russell Peters.  She was a homemaker and a member of Eastview United Pentecostal Church.  She loved quilting, cooking, taking care of children and listening to gospel music.  Virginia is survived by her brothers, Dale Peters and Stanley Peters and wife Lola; her sisters, Margaret Day and Mary Ann Hamm; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Peters; her mother, Helen Louise Peters, her brothers, Wayne Peters and Ronnie Joe Peters and her sister, Bonnie Elaine Peters.  Pallbearers will be, Tommy Hamm, Matt Whittemore, Hunter Thomas, Jarrett Thomas, Heath Thomas, Wesley Richardson and Bradley Woodruff.  Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of MS Virginia Peters.
