Virgie Ann Hensley, 65, of Corinth, MS, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016, at Cornerstone Health and Rehab. She was born in Paden, MS on August 14, 1950 to the late Birdie Mardis Hensley. Virgie was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. She loved gospel music, drawing and writing. She enjoyed crocheting and fishing but especially loved spending time with her great grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled from 5-9 PM Wednesday, May 11, 2016 and from 10 AM till service time Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of Virgie Ann's life will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 11 AM at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories officiated by Bro. Dan Roseberry. Interment will follow at Walnut Creek Church Cemetery. Magnolia Funeral Home is caring for the family. Those left to honor Virgie Ann's memory include her daughter: Rachel Dixon and husband William of Corinth, MS; her son: John Franklin Hensley of Tippah Co., MS; two grandchildren: Orbin Dixon and wife Terrie and Lauren Dixon; three great-grandchildren: Brenna Clark, Chelcea Dixon and Wayne Dixon; three sisters: Caroline Galloway of Florida, Betty Sue Elam of Corinth, MS and Sherry Hensley of Corinth, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
