Van T. Belk passed away Thursday, January 5, 2012 his reidence in Michie, TN at the age of 80. He was born October 27, 1931 He was a good provider for his family. He was a farmer and a mechanic. He was a truck driver for many years and the owner of Belks Scrap Metal for 18 years. He is survived by his Wife of 64 years: Lois Jones Belk – Michie, TN Sons: Daniel T. “Danny” Belk & wife Onnrei; James Belk; Bobby Belk all of Michie, TN Daughters: Evelyn Butler & husband Harry; Wilma Butler & husband Junior, Joyce Crum & husband Charlie; Brenda Bingham & husband Jeff – All of Michie, TN 19 Grandchildren: 32 Great Grandchildren: Other Relatives and a host of friends He is welcomed to heaven by his Parents: George Claude & Johnnie Turner Belk Brothers: Claude “Pete” Belk & George “Blacky” Belk Sisters: Lois Humphrey, Janae Deason, Fay Mannon, Jean Fair
