Funeral services for Vadine H. Dillingham, 95, of Walnut are set for Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 2pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 5pm-8pm and Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 12pm-2pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church. John Dillingham and Bro. Kenneth Drewery will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be John Dillingham, Joshua Dillingham, Tim Smith, Jason Fiveash, Jeff Fiveash, and Jody Fiveash. Born July 10, 1927 in Alcorn County, MS, Mrs. Dillingham passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Vadine loved her family and friends and enjoyed gardening, making fried pies and peanut brittle, helping others and sharing things out of her garden with those in need. She always opened her door to anyone and always made sure they had a hot home cooked meal. Her favorite pass time was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Those left to cherish the memory of Vadine include her son, John Dillingham and wife Karen; daughters, Geraldine Smith and husband James and Susan Fiveash and husband Harris; 7 grandchildren, John Dillingham, Joshua Dillingham, Tim Smith and wife Beth, Karen Lanier, Jason Fiveash and wife Erin, Jeff Fiveash and wife Tiffany and Jody Fiveash and wife Kristie; 18 great grandchildren, Jamie Smith and wife Tana, Kelsey Lanier, Kaitlyn Smith, Kayleigh Lanier, Lane Lanier, Parker Robinson and fiancee Madison Mathis, Carleigh Fiveash, Karsyn Fiveash, Harper Fiveash, Tye Fiveash, Caden Fiveash, Kinzie Huffstutler, Ryleigh Huffstutler, Presley Huffstutler, Averly Huffstutler, Anna Grace Fiveash, Emma Fiveash and Preston Fiveash; 2 great great grandchildren, Weslynn Smith and Beckett Smith; numerous nieces , nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Roy Dillingham; daughter-in-law, Gwen Dillingham; father, Vert Hodum; mother, Susie Mullins Hodum; brothers, Robert Hodum and James Hodum and her sisters, Elmer Cranford, Verdie Carter, Mary Lou Casey and Dorothy Pannell.
