Tony Dewayne Kirk II

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Tony Dewayne Kirk II, 24 of Corinth, MS, will be Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 7:00 P M at Pleasant Hill United Pentecostal Church.  Rev. Dewayne Kirk, Rev. Devyn Cook and Rev. Tony Kirk will officiate the service.  Visitation will be Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 5:00 P M until service time at Pleasant Hill United Pentecostal Church.  Tony passed away Monday, September 12, 2022 in Corinth, MS.  He was born May 20, 1998 in Tupelo, MS to Tony Kirk and Lori Gant Kirk and was a member of Pleasant Hill United Pentecostal Church.  Tony spent his time playing video games, riding dirt bikes, side by sides and shopping for new clothes.  If it was not name brand he was NOT wearing it.  Tony loved milk and iced oatmeal cookies more than anyone.  He lived on cereal; breakfast, lunch and dinner.  He followed in his father’s footsteps, working for TTT Drywall, a trade he started at the young age of 13.  He enjoyed mowing yards on the side.  Tony was always making people laugh and was the life of the party everywhere he went.  He had the most contagious smile and laugh.  He was adored by his nieces, Alaina and Abbie.  They loved their ‘Uncle Bubba’.  Spending time with them brought him so much joy.  Tony loved trap shooting.  In 2011, he made it to the $100,000 shoot-off and placed, winning $5,000 at the young age of 13.  In 2012 he was named the Grand American Sub Junior Handicap Champion.  He grew up in a close nit family who loved him more than he will ever know.  Tony is survived by his parents, Tony and Lori Kirk; his brother, Louie Kirk; his sisters, Miranda Kirk and Anna Hill (Darrell); paternal grandparents, Bro. Dewayne and Linda Kirk; nieces, Alaina Hill and Abbie Hill; aunts, uncle, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Danny and Nelda Trantham Gant.  Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Tony Dewayne Kirk II.
