Toney Clay Thorne, 54, of Iuka, MS, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at his home. He was born in Corinth, MS on November 25, 1961, to the late Spencer D. Thorne and Reba J. Holder Thorne. Toney was truck driver many years and was the owner and operator of Thorne Trucking. He was a hardworking man who never met a stranger. He enjoyed fishing, going to auctions and spending time with his beloved family and friends. He was member of New Liberty Baptist Church. Family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 5-9 PM Monday, June 13, 2016 and from 10 AM till service time Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of Toney's life will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 11 AM at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Bro. Jimmy Daniel and Bro. Jimmy Rich officiating the service. Interment will follow at the Snowdown Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Elmer South, Chris White, Jamie Floyd, Jerrod Spencer, Andrew Zaccagnini and MacKenzie White. Honorary pallbearers include Brandon Russ, Cody Russ, Robbie Wright and Seth George. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Toney's memory include his beloved wife of 21 years: Kathy Thorne; his sons: Gus Stewart ( Nicole) of London, KY, Dusty Stewart of Burnsville; his daughters: Tiffany Crum (Tyler) of Kossuth, Kelsey Stewart (Seth) of Iuka, Lille Voyles of Iuka; his brothers: Wayne Thorne (Arlene) of Iuka, Sammy Thorne (Annie) of Glen, Gene Thorne (Angie) of Corinth; his precious grandchildren: Jessica Reed, Jaycie Reed, Elizabeth Crum, Jamie Floyd, Kaden Stewart; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
