Funeral services for Tommy L. James, 78, of Glen, MS are set for Friday, January 4, 2019 at 11am at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with burial in Forrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 5pm-8pm and Friday, January 4, 2019 from 10am until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Born April 28, 1940 in Booneville, MS., Mr. James passed away on December 27, 2018 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. Tommy was a car dealer for 52 years and a member of Glendale Baptist Church. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, drag racing, playing bingo, his cows, horses and animals. Tommy is survived by his sons: Ricky James and wife Cherry of Guys, TN, Mark James of Corinth, MS and Randy James and wife Tammy of Corinth, MS; 8 grandchildren; several great grandchildren: brother: Kenny James and wife Denise of Glen, MS; sister: Beatrice Youngblood and husband Joe of Corinth, MS: brother-in-law, Martin King of Corinth, MS: nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years: Shirley Ruth James; son: Stevie James:daughter: Vickie James; father: Temple James; mother: Jewel Wheeler James and sisters: Lucy King and Corine James. Pallbearers will be Chris James, Justin James, Casey James, Jesse Arnold, Kenny James II and Martin King. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ricky James, Jr. , Landon Arnold and Wesley James.
