Emory Thomas Boggs Jr., 69, of Pocahontas, TN, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2016, in Pocahontas, TN. He was born in Waterloo, Ohio on July 9, 1946 to the late Emory Thomas Boggs Sr and Louise Cawley Boggs. He worked as a mechanic and a roofer. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, March 8, 2016 @ Soul's Harbor Apostolic Church from 5-8 PM. Magnolia Funeral Home is caring for the family. Those left to honor Tom's memory include his sons: Mark Anthony Boggs and wife Selma of White Pine, TN, James Raymond Boggs and wife Tina of Saulsbury, TN, Terry Edward Boggs and wife Tammy of Church Hill, TN; his daughters: Belinda Sue Walden and husband Joe of Morristown, TN and Angela Lee Foster and husband Terry of Pocahontas, TN; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother: James Thomas Boggs of Roswell, NM; two sisters: Pat Redmon of Springfield, OH and Betty Ann Holderby of Columbus, OH; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 28 years: Garnett Lee Baker Boggs; his sons: Curt Douglas Boggs and Timothy Lee Boggs; his sisters: Janet Lee Cole, Martha Wright and Frances Boggs.
