Tim Smith

A Celebration of Life service for Tim Smith, 62 of Corinth, MS, will be Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 11:00 A M at Strickland Church of Christ with interment to follow at Clear Creek Church of Christ Cemetery. Minister Terry Smith and Minister Duane Ellis will officiate the service. Visitation will be Thursday, December 23, 2021 from 9:30 A M until service time at Strickland Church of Christ. Mr. Smith passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born December 15, 1959 in Corinth, MS to Vandel Eugene Smith and Linda Ware Smith. He was a member of Strickland Church of Christ and retired after 30 years of service as an assembler at Caterpillar. Tim’s whole world revolved around his two grandchildren. He was an avid relic hunter and outdoorsman. Tim is survived by his high school sweetheart, who he has been married to for 42 years, Hope Smith; his sons, Justin Smith and wife Amy and Ethan Smith and wife Leah; two grandchildren, Ellie Ann Smith and Salem Smith; his brother, Shea Smith and wife Angie; his sister, Mitzi Whitley and husband Deedy; his parents-in-law, Hershel and Dorothy Smith; other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Vandel “Jiggs” Smith and his mother, Linda Ware Smith. Pallbearers will be Trey King, Johnny Potts, Sid Bondurant, Gary Walden, Mike Coln and John Stevens. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Tim Smith.
