Timothy Wade "Tim" Jones, 56, of Walnut, Mississippi, passed away as a result of an automobile accident on Thursday, May 14, 2015, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was of the Apostolic faith. He was employed with Benchcraft for 25 years and currently worked at Ashley Furniture. He was an avid Ole Miss fan and enjoyed all kinds of sports. He loved to keep stats for Walnut High School ball games and umpire at the Walnut ballpark. He enjoyed playing Santa for the town of Walnut for several years. He loved his family and especially his grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled to start at 6 PM on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Christ Temple in Walnut, MS. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM on Sunday, May 17, 2015, at Christ Temple, officiated by Bro. Ronald Wilbanks, Bro. Scotty Downs, Bro. William Kirkman and Bro. Clay Hall. Interment will follow in Christ Temple Cemetery. Pallbearers include Timmy Moore, John Meeks, Danny Roach, Darrell Vess, Jim Jackson and Roger Clifton. Honorary pallbearers include Leon Watkins, Scott Pulliam, Joe Pulliam, Douglas Jackson, Charles Jones and his fellow mill room workers at Ashley Furniture.. He is survived by his wife of 22 years: Dolores Elaine Jones of Walnut, MS; two daughters: Shawana Watkins and husband Jason of Walnut, MS and Haley Jones of Walnut, MS; an adopted daughter: Mallorie Waldon of Walnut, MS; an adopted son: Roger Clifton of Walnut, MS; a brother: Terry Jones and Tammy of Walnut, MS; five precious grandchildren: Mia, Lea, Madelyn, Layla and Nolan Watkins; other relatives and a host of friends.
