Theresa Michelle Dixon

Theresa Michelle (Johnson) Dixon, 34, of Corinth, MS, was escorted by angels to her heavenly home on Monday, June 12, 2017. She was born in Bryan, Texas on October 19, 1982 to Michael and Mary Johnson. Michelle lived in Waco, TX before moving to Pine Bluff, AR where she graduated from Pine Bluff Christian Academy. Michelle was educated in music ministry at Texas Bible College and ministered in music and song as her husband preached the gospel that she lived and loved throughout the Arkansas and Mississippi Districts of the United Pentecostal Church. Michelle was secretary of ladies ministries and involved in the children's ministries at West Corinth Pentecostal Tabernacle. She passionately worked the Arkansas District United Pentecostal Church Youth Camps volunteering her time every summer. She was a substitute teacher for the Alcorn County School system. Michelle loved people, genuinely cared, and truly made an impact on everyone she met. The last song she was able to minister to us leaves us great comfort and hope: "WHAT A DAY THAT WILL BE WHEN MY JESUS I SHALL SEE!". Visitation is scheduled for 5 - 9 pm, Friday, June 16, 2017 at West Corinth Pentecostal Tabernacle and from 12-3 pm Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Revival Church of Searcy - Searcy, AR. A home going celebration of Michelle's life will be held at 3 pm Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Revival Church of Searcy officiated by Rev. Dennis Anderson, Rev. Phillip Hedden, Rev. Chris Dixon, and Rev. B. J. Thomas. Interment will follow in White County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers include nephews: Ben Dixon and Aaron Dixon, and cousins: Justin South, Drake Wrinkle, Michael Thyen, John Thyen, Aaron Huckaby, and Chris Huckaby. Honorary pallbearers include Michelle's classmates from Texas Bible College. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Michelle's memory include her beloved husband: Rev. Nathan Dixon of Corinth; two sons: Brayden and Braxton Hobbs; two stepsons: Nate and Morgan Dixon; and one stepdaughter: Sayler Dixon all of Corinth. She also leaves her father and stepmother: Rev. Michael and Karen Johnson of Searcy, AR; her beloved little sister: Brittany Johnson of Searcy, AR; her brother: Rev. Paul (Samantha) Johnson of Concord, AR; two step brothers: Rev. Shawn (Marti) Foster of Judsonia, AR, Rev. Seth (Martha) Foster of Dallas, TX; two step sisters: Brittiany (Rev. Caleb) Hutto of Searcy, AR, Brooke (Rev. Chantry) Copaus of San Antonio, TX; her paternal grandfather: Jimmy Johnson Sr. of Park Hills, MO; her father and mother-in-law: Rev. Merl and Jeannie Dixon of Corinth; her brothers-in-law: Rev. Chris (Jena) Dixon of White Hall, AR, Rev. Tim (Janet) Dixon of Corinth; and a host of loving family, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends she loved dearly. Michelle was preceded in death by her mother and best friend: Mary (Huckaby) Johnson, her maternal grandparents: Rev. Charles and Pat Huckaby; and by her paternal grandmother: Frances Theresa Johnson. Michelle was not here long, but she lived a lifetime full of love. Surely she will be missed by all but only heaven will reveal the ultimate results of Michelle's love and diligence for the Kingdom of God.
