Thelma Holder Parvin, 82, of Glen, MS, passed away Monday, June 22, 2020, at her residence in Glen, MS. She was born on September 25, 1937, to the late Willie Denier and Mattie Carter Holder. Thelma was a homemaker, a beloved member of Glendale Baptist Church and will forever be remembered in the hearts she loved. Those left to honor Thelma’s memory are her son Lynn Parvin (Lisa) of Corinth, daughter Lisa Parvin Phelps (Brian) of Glen, MS, three grandchildren: Summer Parvin, Callie Stricklin (Koty), and Carlie Phelps, four great-grandchildren: Cobey Parvin, Tynlee Johnson, Kaj Johnson, and Stanton South Johnson; and by her sister Earnestine Fowler of Corinth. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years: Tommie Lee Parvin, her father and mother: Willie Denier and Mattie Carter Holder, brothers: James Holder, Freeman Holder, C.L. Holder, and W.D. Holder, and sisters: Mae Blakney, Reba Thorn, and Imogene Jones. There will be a drive-in funeral service broadcasted on 100.7 FM at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at Glendale Baptist Church with Bro. Jon Haimes officiating. Interment will be at the Glendale Baptist Church Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Sammy Thorn, Koty Stricklin, Mike Morgan, Stacy Stewart, Tyler Ashcraft, and Steve Little.
