Terry D. Evetts

Terry D. Evetts, of Corinth, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018, surrounded by his family. There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, officiated by Bro. Terry Smith and Rev. Lamar Chamblee. Burial will follow at Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at Magnolia Funeral Home from 5:00 PM-- 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to: Pinevale Children’s Home, 1872 CR 700, Corinth, MS 38834. He was married to the love of his life, Margie, for 51 years. He was a Car Dealer for over 40 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, which was his pride and joy; loved reading his Bible; talking with Will about old fishing days, and enjoyed spending lots of quality time with Abby. Those left to honor his memory include: Wife of 51 years: Margie Gray Evetts of Corinth; Daughter: Shelly Evetts Phillips and husband Bill Jr. of Corinth; Granddaughter: Abby Prestage of Corinth; Grandson: Will Phillips of Corinth; brothers-in-law: Roy Gray and wife Sherry of Corinth and Ricky Robertson and wife; Two Special Friends: Gary West and Rev. Lamar Chamblee of Corinth; Along with a Host of other family and friends. He is preceded in death by His Father: Garvin Evetts; His Mother: Denia Smith Evetts and His Son: Terry Wade Evetts.
