A Celebration of Life service for Terre Ranney Bain, 81 of Glen, MS, will be Sunday, September 6, 2020 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home-East Chapel with interment to follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery. Bro. Ron Plymel and Buddy Kemp will officiate the service. Visitation will be Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home-East. Mr. Bain passed away Thursday, September 3, 2020 at his residence in Glen, MS. He was born June 4, 1939 in Alcorn County, MS to Luther Leaton Bain and Grace Baswell Bain. He was a self-employed welder and machinist and was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening, purchasing antique cars, trucks and tractors and restoring them. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and enjoyed taking them to George Jones concerts. He was a very humble giving person, who would help anyone who needed it. Ranney is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nelda June Wiginton Bain of Glen, MS; his son Joey Randy Bain and wife Melissa of Rienzi, MS; his daughter, Terrie Lynn Bain of Glen, MS; 8 grandchildren, Nathaniel Bain, Daniel Bain (Amanda), Caleb Bain, Austin Tucker, Brandon Tucker, Collin Tucker, Dillon Grieser and Elisa Grieser; 5 great grandchildren, Noah Bain, Leeton Bain, Hayden Wilbanks, Aubreigh Kate Tucker and Jaxon Keith Tucker; his brother, Reaphys Bain of Glen, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Luther Leaton Bain; his mother, Grace Baswell Bain; his son-in-law, Brian Keith Tucker and his brothers, Garvin Bain (Jessie), Toby Bain and Lindon Bain. Pallbearers will be Daniel Bain, Sam Tull, Jackie Baswell, Austin Tucker, Brandon Tucker, Dillon Grieser and Collin Tucker. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Terre Ranney Bain.
