Teddy Rodgers

Funeral services for Teddy Rodgers, 87 of Counce, TN are set for Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 4pm at First Baptist Church of Counce with interment in Pisgah Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 17, 2024 from 2:30pm until 4pm at First Baptist Church of Counce. Bro. Jimmie McChristial will officiate with Lynn Prather delivering the eulogy. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Wallin, Richie Rodgers, Tyler Dickerson, Lynn Prather, Keith Hodges and Brett Rinks. Born September 30, 1936 in Tennessee, Mr. Rodgers passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Counce and a retired Civil Engineer for the state of Tennessee with 30 years of service. Teddy was a U.S. Army National Guard veteran. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed traveling, gardening and working on cars. Teddy is survived by his wife of 59 years, Martha B. Rodgers; son, Teddy Rodgers, Jr. (Pam) ; daughters, Debbie Kiestler McIntyre and April Hodges (Keith); 7 grandchildren, Tyler Dickerson, Bailey Dickerson, Rachel Holland (Will), Haylea Echols (Dustin), Madeline McIntyre, Lauren Hodges and Reid Hodges; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Jimmy Rodgers and Max Rodgers (Margaret); sisters, Elizabeth Wallin (Charles) and Janice Cunningham ; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, James Isaac Rodgers and his mother, Elmo Elizabeth Summers Rodgers. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Teddy Rodgers.
