Ted E. Chandler, Sr., 78, of Savannah, TN went to Heaven Thursday, November 24, 2016 at Jackson General Hospital in Jackson, TN. Funeral services are set for Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 1:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment to follow at Haughton Memorial Park Cemetery in Amory, MS. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 10:00 A M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Rev. Ted E. Chandler, Jr., Tony King and Bro. Donald Sculley will officiate the service. Born December 24, 1937, Mr. Chandler worked for the ICG Railroad in Corinth, MS and has been retired for several years.
Survivors include his wife, Inez Jordon King Chandler of Savannah, TN; his son, Rev. Ted E. Chandler, Jr. and wife Martha of New Albany, MS; daughter, Mary Jane O’Neill and husband Jim of Corinth, MS; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; mother of his 4 children, Jean McMahon; step-sons, Dennis King and wife Mary of Virginia Beach, VA, Tony King and wife Laura of Muscle Shoals, AL, Mike King of Lake Charles, LA and Randy King and wife Carol of Linden, TN; he also has numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly; other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Rob Chandler; his daughter, Becky Dobbins; his father, Robert Osby Chandler and his mother, Nancy Addie Doyle Chandler. Pallbearers will be his beloved nieces and nephews. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
