A Celebration of Life service for Tammy Ann Heavener Wiley, 49 of Corinth is set for Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 11am at Magnolia Funeral Home with burial in Memory Gardens in Savannah, TN. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 5pm-9pm and Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 10am until service time. Born August 31, 1968 in Savannah, TN., Tammy graduated from Alcorn Central High School in 1987 and then went on to attend NEMCC and graduated from their RN Nursing program in 1989. People were Tammy’s passion. In her time as a nurse, she worked at Hardin County Medical Center in Labor and Delivery. Tammy wasn’t about stagnation…. she was about becoming. Pregnant women became mothers- babies became healthy and happy. Under her hands things became more than they were before she touched them. Nowhere was this more evident than in her kitchen. Tammy’s favorite thing was to take whatever was hiding in the back of her cabinets and create something delicious from them. The only thing that Tammy loved more than cooking was serving her cooking to her family. Her stove and her heart were always warm, and her love to her family, especially her children and grandson and her friends will not be forgotten. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Tammy is survived by her husband, Donny Wiley of Corinth; sons, Jacob Wiley and Kaleb Wiley of Corinth; daughter, Jade Wiley of Corinth; stepson, D. J. Wiley of Corinth; grandson, Braylen Gage Parish of Corinth; parents, Charles and Surobia Austin Heavener of Corinth; brother, Keith McIntyre and wife Lori of Corinth; sister, Teresa McIntyre Burns and husband Ricky of Corinth; step-sister, Cindy Griffin of Memphis, TN; step-brothers, Dave Heavener of Corinth and Mike Heavener of Naperville, IL; best friend and sister, Sherry Crum of Corinth; other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her son, Trent Wiley and brother, Charles Wayne Heavener, Jr. Pallbearers will be Clay Burns, D. J. Wiley, A. J. Burns, Mason Dean, David Smith and David Aday. Dr. Leonard Pratt and Pastor Gerald Blankenship will officiate the service. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Tammy Ann Heavener Wiley.
