T. J. "Bo" Johnson

A Celebration of Life Service for T. J. “Bo” Johnson, 77 of Rienzi, MS, will be Sunday, July 16, 2023 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – South Chapel on 45 South with interment to follow in Hinkle Baptist Church Cemetery.  Adam Johnson will officiate the service.  Visitation will be Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M and Sunday, July 16, 2023 from 1:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – South.  Mr. Johnson passed away Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Magnolia Regional Health Center.  Mr. Johnson was born November 13, 1945 in Rienzi, MS to Taylor Jesse Johnson and Asalee Hastings Johnson.  He was a construction contractor and of the Pentecostal faith.  He enjoyed gardening and plowing with his tractor.  He loved taking care of his yard and working in his shop.  Bo is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda Duncan Johnson; his sons, Jesse Noel Johnson and Adam Keith Johnson (Sue Ellen); six grandchildren, Brooklyn Leann Johnson, Mason Lee Ketchum, Dawson Lane Ketchum, Gracelyn Faith Johnson, Alora Dannon Johnson and Jasper Taylor Johnson and his sisters, Mary Ann Farris and Martha Helen Butler.  He is preceded in death by his father, Taylor Johnson; his mother, Asalee Hastings Johnson and his brother, Albert Burton Johnson.  Honorary pallbearers will be his sons and nephews.  Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. T.J. “Bo” Johnson.
