A Celebration of Life service for Martha Sue Smith, 70 of Booneville, MS, will be Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Magnolia Funeral Home-East Chapel with interment to follow at Jacinto Cemetery. Bro. James Marks will officiate the service. Visitation will be Friday, September 4, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 1:00 PM until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home-East. Mrs. Smith passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. She was born December 18, 1949 in Prentiss County, MS to Avis Brimingham and Mildred Maness Brimingham. She was a factory worker and was of the Christian faith. Sue is survived by her husband Major Smith of Booneville, MS; her sons, Shane Latch of Booneville, MS and Allen Rorie (Debbie) of Rienzi, MS; 3 grandchildren, Keith Shettles (Brandi), Corey Shettles (Olivia) and Krystal Thrasher (Cody); 8 great grandchildren, Riley, Jordan, Kadence, Brayden, Spencer, Grayson, Asher and Paislee; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Avis Brimingham; her mother, Mildred Maness Brimingham and her brothers, Charles Brimingham and Eulice Brimingham. Pallbearers will be Keith Shettles, Corey Shettles, Cody Thrasher, Johnny Smith, Brandon Jones and Riley Jones. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Sue Smith.
