Sue Brown

Betty Sue Brown, 71, of Iuka, MS, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Tishomingo County, MS on January 27, 1946 to the late Eugene (Bud) and Stella Smith Pannell. Sue was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed working for many years as activity director and social worker at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home. She will forever be remembered in the hearts of her family and friends. A private memorial will be held at a later date. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Sue's memory include her son: Brandon Michael Brown and wife Latasha of Iuka, MS; her grandchildren: Landon Brown and Brianna Brown; her brother: Bob Pannell and wife Sandra of Iuka, MS; her sister: Angie Barnett of Iuka, MS; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Larry Gene Brown; her brother: Tony Pannell; and her sisters: Marcy Lademan and Cindy Clement.
