Sue Ballard

A Celebration of Life Service for Sue Ballard, 83 of Corinth, MS, will be Sunday, April 13, 2025 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – South Chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday, April 13, 2025 from 1:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – South. Dr. Randy Bostick will officiate the service. Mrs. Ballard passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at her residence. She was born February 1, 1942 in Corinth, MS to Roy Wilbanks and Ruby Cornelius Wilbanks. She was employed as a line operator at both ITT and Kimberly Clark and was a member of member of Oakland Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, being outside, cooking and gardening and was a licensed beautician. She loved painting, woodworking with her husband, arts and crafts, quilting, sewing and going to church. Sue is survived by her daughters, Sharron Renay Cox (Buddy) and Sheila Gay Fletcher (James); four grandchildren, Bethany O’Niell (Brad), Rebekah Cox, Silas Cox and Sarah Grace Fletcher; her sister, Mary Lee Kennedy; other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Stanley Ballard; her father, Roy Wilbanks; her mother, Ruby Wilbanks Nunley; her brothers, J.V. Wilbanks (Helen) and Herman Wilbanks (Pattie) and her sisters, Doris Whitfield and Kay Hale. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Sue Ballard.
