Stevie "Boo" Glidewell

Funeral services for Stevie "Boo" Glidewell, 58, of Burnsville are set for Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 11am at Magnolia Funeral Home- EAST with interment in Temple Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 5pm-8pm and Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 10am until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home- EAST. Bro. Gerald Glidewell will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Cory Glidewell, Jeremy Glidewell, Chris Orr, Chad Glidewell, Sean Glidewell and Steven Glidewell. Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Stricklen and Kyle Stricklen. Born October 5, 1965 in Memphis, TN, Stevie passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at his home. He was an automobile repairman and the owner and founder of B & B Bargain Barn in Burnsville. He loved his family, especially his son and grandchildren and enjoyed working on antique cars and traveling to the Smoky Mountains. Boo was a simple but generous man. Those left to cherish Boo's memory include his wife of 34 years, Becky Glidewell; son, Steven "Tiny" Glidewell (Taylor); 2 grandchildren, Mary Evelyn Glidewell and Brooks Glidewell; brothers, Bruce Glidewell, Barry Glidewell (Dink) and Tim Glidewell; sister, Barbara Dobbins (Mike); special friends, Tommy Page and Tim Gaines; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie B. Glidewell; mother, Peggy Sue Glidewell and his sister, Beverly Orr.
