Stephen B. Nichelson

A Celebration of Life service for Rev. Stephen B. Nichelson is set for Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 2:00pm at Apostolic Friendship Chapel in Iuka with burial to follow in Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 5:00pm-8:00pm and Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 12:30pm until service time at Apostolic Friendship Chapel. Born January 24, 1940 in Iuka, MS, Rev. Stephen was the Pastor of Apostolic Friendship Chapel for many years. He loved his family, his friends and his church family. Rev. Stephen is survived by his wife of 57 years, Veneda Nichelson of Iuka; his sisters, Freddie Turner of Millington, TN, Jane Vess and husband Lee of Iuka, Carolyn Brown and husband Richard of Iuka, MS. and Susan Altman and husband Gene of Iuka, MS; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Baxter Nichelson and his mother, Eula Dennington Nichelson. Jonathan McAlister, Jacque McAlister and Bro. Buddy Marshall will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Carl Brown, Jason Brown, Michael Osborne, Stephen Adams, Jeremiah Dees and Tracy Woodruff. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Rev. Stephen B. Nichelson.
