Funeral services for Stella Mae Poindexter, 75 of Michie, TN are set for Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 11am at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with burial to follow at Wheeler Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, November 27, 2017 from 5pm-9pm and Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 10 am until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. She was born May 13, 1942 in Corinth, MS. She worked in child care and was a homemaker and of the Holiness faith. Husband of 26 years: Junior Poindexter of Michie, TN; son Tracy Lambert and wife Cristie of Corinth; daughters, Rhonda Lambert of Michie and Wanda Lambert Mills and husband John of Michie; stepson, Bud Poindexter and wife Cheryl of Michie; stepdaughters, Anise Young and husband Tommy of Counce and Lisa Poindexter and Mike Billingsly of Counce; grandchildren, Amanda Henry and husband Mike, Sarah Strickland and husband Danny, Anna Bowen, Emily Qualls, Samantha Lambert, Brittany Hux and husband Daniel, Duston Mills and wife Heather, Ashley Brink and Dylan Mills; step grandchildren: Jay Poindexter and Mikia Poindexter; 19 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brother, Charles Thompson and wife Debbie of Corinth; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her father: Charlie Newt Thompson; mother, Amanda Veatrice Jones Thompson; brother, Travis Thompson; sister, Betty Lancaster and 2 grandchildren, Cory Mills nd Brooke Mills.
