Shirley Hopper

A Celebration of Life service for Shirley Beatrice Null Hopper, 78 of Corinth, MS,will be Sunday, January 26, 2020 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Bro. Trent Nethery will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Falkner, MS. Visitation will be Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M and Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 1:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Mrs. Hopper passed away Monday, January 20, 2020 at her residence. She was born May 2, 1941 in Ripley, MS to Robert Null and Bessie Dixon Null. She was a retired seamstress and was of the Christian faith. Shirley is survived by her 4 grandchildren, Robert Dunn, Jeramy Dunn (Rachel), Phillip Mathis (Kristy) and Shain Mathis (Lauren); 7 great grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; her brother, R.C. Null (Sara) of Middleton, TN; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Von Hopper; her son, Jeffery "Buddy" Mathis; her daughter, Nattley Bernice Dunn (Timmy Ray); her grandson, Chris Dunn; 1 great great-grandchild; her father, Robert Null; her mother, Bessie Dixon Null; her brothers, Woodrow Null, Floyd Null, Elbert "Boots" Null, R.G. Null, Jody Null, Kenneth Null and Shelby Null; her sisters, Lucille Null, Berdie Mae Null and Nellie Ruth Quinn. Pallbearers will be Ray Seago, Robbie McCarley, Keith Marolt, Terrell Clark, Chandler Washburn and Chad Grimes. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Shirley Hopper.
