Shirley Ann Foster

A Celebration of life service for Shirley Ann Foster, 77 of Corinth, MS is set for Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 4:00pm at Oak Grove Methodist Church in Pocahontas, TN with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 6:00pm-9:00pm and Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 11:00am until service time at Oak Grove Methodist Church in Pocahontas, TN. Born October 26, 1941 in Pocahontas, TN, Shirley passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at MS Care Center. She loved spending time with her friends and family and enjoyed listening to Southern Gospel music and attending Southern Gospel concert, playing piano and singing and her favorite place to go was the Great Smokey Mountains. Most of all she was a faithful servant of the Lord. Shirley is survived by her sons, Timothy L. Foster and wife Stacy of Selmer, TN and Terry Foster and wife Angie of Pocahontas, TN; daughter, Teresa Ann Chessor of Guys, TN; 7 grandchildren, James Chessor, Jr. and wife Renae, Kenny Chessor and wife Misty, Hannah Foster, Madison Foster, Zack Foster and wife Holley, Tanner Foster and Marly Kate Foster; 7 great grandchildren, Victoria Chessor, Elizabeth Chessor, Julian Chessor, Gracie Chessor, Charlie Chessor, Kayleigh Foster and Harper Foster; several beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, T. R. Foster, father, Otis L. Jones; mother, Linnie Mae Wilbanks Jones and sisters, Annie Jones and Mary Nell Flake. Rev. Terrell Gatewood, Rev. Jesse Cutrer, Rev. Kenny Chessor, Rev. James Chessor, Jr., Rev. Timothy Foster and Rev. John Creasy will officiate the service. Jimmy Flake , Larry Flake, Zack Foster, Tanner Foster, Brandon Bates, Jerry Massengill, Gary McQueen and Dylan McConnell will be pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Gatewood and Johnny Rixie. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Shirley Ann Foster.
