Funeral services for Shirley G. Forrester are set for Friday, March 28, 2025 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – EAST with interment in East Prentiss Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, March 28, 2025 from 12pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home- EAST. Gerald Glidewell and Bro. Tommy Leatherwood will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Evan Crabb, Ethan Crabb, Jacob Ramey, Bobby Crabb, Asher Crabb and Kamron Ramey. Born September 19, 1943 in Commerce, Missouri, Mrs. Forrester passed from this life on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at North MS Medical Center – Iuka. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. Making crochet dolls was her passion and she enjoyed watching Tales of Wells Fargo, going to Thrift shops and spending time with her grandchildren. Shirley is survived by her grandchildren, Lacey Crabb (Evan) and Jacob Ramey (Necole); 6 great grandchildren, Kamron Ramey, Asher Crabb, Abraham Crabb, Christian Csapo, Izzy Ramey and Andrew Crabb; brother, Sam Garrett; sister, Margie Rynor; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her son, Terry Ramey; daughter, Lisa Ramey; father, Oscar Garrett; mother, Bertha Myrtle Garrett; brothers, Johnny Garrett, Tom Garrett, Jessie Garrett, George Garrett, Raymond Garrett, Truman Garrett and David Story; and her sister, Irene Pollard, Dorothy Garrett, Oma Rogers and Emma Fleming. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Shirley G. Forrester.
