Sherry Spears

Funeral services for Sherry Spears, 59 of Corinth, MS, will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Rev. Tim Hall and Rev. Jesse Cutrer will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Thursday, September 12, 2024 and from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM Friday, September 13, 2024 at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. A graveside service will be held at Henry Cemetery following the service. Pallbearers will be John Spears, Ethan Spears, Stephen Berry, Brayden Spears, Ryan Hill, Justin Hill, and Jeremy Jones. Sherry peacefully transitioned from this life to be with Jesus on September 8, 2024, while surrounded by family and friends at her home in Corinth, MS. She was born to Jimmy and Yvonne Jones on November 9, 1964 in Chandler, AZ. Sherry loved spending time with family, word search puzzles, and tending to her chickens. She began her relationship with Jesus on December 31, 1993, and was a woman of great faith. She was a member of Souls Harbor Apostolic Church in Walnut, MS. Professionally, Sherry spent much of her career in Senior Care Management and spent the last 12 years as the Director of Dietary Services at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Booneville in Booneville, MS. Sherry was survived by her three children, John Spears (Kaitlyn) of Ramer, TN, Brittany Berry (Stephen) of Corinth, MS, and Ethan Spears (Kinley) of Iuka, MS; 11 grandchildren, 3 brothers, 5 sisters, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Rev. Louis Charles Jones and Robbie Lucille Self Jones; maternal grandparents, Earl Jones and Virgie Eloise Bradford Jones; parents, Jimmy Doil Jones and Yvonne Eloise Jones; and two brothers, Timothy Doil Jones and Charles Israel Jones. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Sherry Spears.
