Shelley Huggins

A gathering for family and friends of Shelley Huggins, 53 of Pocahontas , TN, will be Wednesday , February 26, 2025 at 5:00 PM at New Hope Baptist Church in Pocahontas , TN. Born on April 10, 1971, Shelley was a cherished member of her community who left this world on February 21, 2025. A woman of deep faith, Shelley loved the Lord and devoted daily time to her spiritual journey, finding strength and solace in her morning rituals. Her passions were many, and among them was a remarkable love for cooking, particularly known for crafting what many proclaimed to be the world's best lasagna. Shelley took great joy in sharing her culinary creations, embodying the spirit of service as she fed not only her family but also her neighbors and friends on Wolfpen, where she left an indelible mark through her tireless contributions. Whether fishing or playing bingo, Shelley embraced life's simple pleasures with a vibrant spirit that inspired those around her. She valued the time spent with family, always fostering strong connections and creating lasting memories that will be treasured by her loved ones. One of Shelley's greatest joys was her companionship with her beloved dog, Max. Her legacy is one of love, service, and the joy she spread to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Shelley is survived by her children, Josh Irvin (Katey), Kimberly Weaver (Travis), Ashley Hopper (Johnathan); her grandchildren, Amelia Irvin, Noah Knievel, Kayden Weaver, Braelynn Weaver, Julia Hopper, and Lucas Hopper; her niece, Cassy Durban (Chris); her nephew, Talon Bizzell; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sid Knight and Ann Vaughn Knight and her sister, Penny. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Shelley Huggins.
