Funeral services for Sandy Mae Comer, 54 of Rienzi, MS are set for Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST with cremation to follow. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from 5pm-8pm and Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 12pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST. Bro. Mike Brown will officiate the service. Born September 8, 1968 in Rochelle, IL., Sandy passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at Jackson Madison County General in Jackson, TN. She was of the Baptist faith and a stocker at Walmart. Sandy loved being with her family and friends and enjoyed crocheting, doing all kinds of crafts and taking care of her dogs. She was an avid animal lover. The family request in lieu of flowers that memorial donation checks be made to the Corinth Animal Shelter and mailed to 21 CR 333, Corinth, MS 38834, where they will be given to the animal shelter. Sandy is survived by her husband of 38 years, Ricky Comer; daughter, Lindsay Ford and husband Jeremy; father-in-law, Bill Comer and wife, Glinda; brother-in-law, Dwight Comer; sisters-in-law, Donna Middleton and husband John, Sandy Hughes and husband Mike and Connie Howell and husband Chad; aunt , Donna Childers; nieces and nephews, Jarad Comer and wife Jana, Amber Dellinger, April Dellinger, Zach Powers and Carter Howell; great nieces, Madelyn Comer and Riley Comer; other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Roy Martin; mother, Linda James Martin and her mother-in-law, Shelby Comer. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Sandy Mae Comer.
