Sally Dobbins

A private family service for Sally Dobbins, 84 of Corinth, MS, will be Saturday, October 17, 2020 with interment to follow at Henry Cemetery. Masks and social distancing will be required. Bro. Mickey Trammell will officiate the service. Mrs. Dobbins passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at her residence. She was born December 11, 1935 in Corinth, MS to Richard Brooks and Otha Gilton Brooks. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Tate Baptist Church. She loved to cook and give her creations to the sick. She enjoyed gardening, crappie fishing and playing rook. Her grands and great grands where her life. She loved spending time with her husband “Hon”! Sally is survived by her husband of 68 years, Charles Lee "Hun" Dobbins of Corinth, MS; her daughters, Deborah Dobbins Haney of Gulf Shores, AL and Lee Ann McDuffy and husband Brett of Corinth, MS; seven grandchildren, Darale Haney, Amber Haney, Kristin Haney Ward (Caleb), Joshua McDuffy, Jacob McDuffy, Charles Caleb Haney and Jordan McDuffy; three great grandchildren, Charlsli Ward, Landon Ward and Oakleigh Claire Ward; her brothers, R.M. Brooks (Linda) of Corinth, MS, Harry Brooks of Corinth, MS, Rudy Brooks (Shirley) of Knoxville, TN and Ricky Brooks (Kay) of Steamboat Springs, CO; her sisters, Bernice Jackson of Corinth, MS and Carrie Brock of Ripley, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Brooks; her mother, Otha Gilton Brooks; her brothers, James Brooks and Paul Brooks and her sisters, Jo Ann Isom, Patsy Woodruff, Minerva Samples and Marsha Nelms. Pallbearers will be Darale Haney, Joshua McDuffy, Jacob McDuffy, Charles Caleb Haney, Jordan McDuffy and Caleb Ward.
