A Celebration of Life service for Juanita Meeks, 94 of Iuka, MS, will be Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 3:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment to follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Bro Sheldon Lambert will officiate the service with Kathy Hall delivering the eulogy. Visitation will be Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 12:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Mrs. Meeks passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Tishomingo Manor. She was born March 27, 1928 in Corinth, MS to Comer Alton Page and Bessie Mae Strachan Page. She retired as a material handler for Ringer America after 16 years of service. She was a member of Glendale Baptist Church. Juanita is survived by her son, Billy Gene Meeks (Lela); her daughters, Kathy Hall (Billy Wayne) and Judy Pace (Harold Guyton); 17 grandchildren, Amanda Meeks, Doug Meeks (Kortney), Chasity Williams (Brandon), Derek Meeks (Morgan), Denise Gray (William), Danielle Koehler (Florian), Heather Hollins, Jason Parsons, Zach Parsons, Amanda Parsons, Stephanie Dyson, Shanna Dyson (Albert), Carmen Raines (Paul), Joshua Cooksey (Jessica), Erica Hooper, Jacob Hopper (Robin) and Taneskia Callins; 26 great grandchildren Dawson Meeks, Haley Williams, Maddie Williams, Landon Williams, Taylor Meeks, Jordan Meeks, Lucas Koehler, Lennox Koehler, Kaylee Hudson, Karson Hudson, Kensle Hudson, Oaklee Hollins, Stella Hollins, Chase Morris, Marcus Cooksey, Bentley Cooksey, Wesley Cooksey, Riley Cooksey, Olivia Cooksey, Kayde Hopper, James Hopperand Jack Hopper; 3 step great grandchildren, Austin McDivitt (Emily), Zack McDivitt and Hayden Gay; 3 great great-grandchildren, Baylor McDivitt, Blaire McDivitt and McKynlee Rose Callins Jamison ; bonus daughter, Jackie Cavins; daughter-in-law, Mary Meeks; brother-in-law, Joe McAfee; other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Mark “Jack” Meeks; her son, James David Meeks; 1 great grandchild; her father, Comer Alton Page; her mother, Bessie Mae Page; her brother, Robert Page; her sisters, Betty Potts and Gloria McAfee and her sister-in-law, Norita Page. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Juanita Meeks.
