Ruby "Doley" Burns

A Celebration of Life service for Ruby “Doley” Burns, 71 of Iuka, MS, will be Monday, November 30, 2020 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment to follow at Pleasant Grove Church of Christ Cemetery in Iuka, MS. Bro. Billy Glover, Jr. will officiate the service. Visitation will be Sunday, November 29, 2020 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M and Monday, November 30 from 1:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Mrs. Burns passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo, MS. She was born September 28, 1949 in Hardin County, TN to Lester Tucker and Bonnie Glover Tucker. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. Ruby is survived by her son, Thomas Jason Burns of Iuka, MS; her daughters, Vicky Shea and husband Dwayne of Burnsville, MS and Amy Gray and husband David of Burnsville, MS; 8 grandchildren, Brett Shea, Veronica Brown (Jimmilee), Warren Shea, Tyler Gray, Amelia Williams (Bryan), Fisher Burns, Tucker Burns and Haddy Burns; 4 great grandchildren, Veralee Brown, Addy Gray, Casen Williams and Stetson Williams; her brothers, Jake Tucker of Lawrenceburg, TN and Bud Tucker of Lawrenceburg, TN; her sisters, Betty Whitaker (Lloyd) of Iuka, MS, Patricia Barber of Iuka, MS and Nelda King (Carlos) of Booneville, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Thomas Harold Burns; her father, Lester Tucker; her mother, Bonnie Glover tucker; her brother, Bobby Joe Tucker; her sister, Mary Marlar and her brother-in-law, James Barber. Pallbearers will be Brent Bonds, Bradley Bonds, B.J. Tucker, Chris Marlar, Devin Mackey, Dylan Mackey, Wendell Marlar, Derek Barber and Christian Bonds. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Bonds and Waylon Phifer. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Ruby “Doley” Burns.
