Ray Lee Miller passed away Friday, November 26, 2010 at his home in Rienzi at the age of 97. He was born March 8, 1913 to the late Luther & Elizia Miller in Alcorinth County. He Graduated in 1935 from Alcorn Agricultural High School in Kossuth and received his Masters Degree from Mississippi State. He was principal at Crum School for 2 years, Union School for 13 years, Bell School for 9 years and Glendale Elementary School for 6 years all in Alcorn County and Chalybeate Elementary school in Tippah County. He was a Mason and belonged to Corinth Lodge # 116. He won Alcorn County Elementary School Basketball Tournament with both boys and girls teams at Bell Elementary School. Bell Elementary School Boys Team was the undefeated County Championship Team in 1953 and He was a member of Union Baptist Church
