Roy C. Childers

A private service for family only will be held for Roy C. Childers, 78 of Michie, TN, with interment to follow at Magnolia Gardens. Bro. Tommy Callahan will officiate the service. Mr. Childers passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021 peacefully at his home. He was born on May 21, 1943 to the late Calvin Childers and Emma Scott Childers. He graduated from Central High School in 1962 and was a member of Greater Life United Pentecostal Church. Roy was an employee of Intex Plastics for 40 years, which is now MS Polymers. He was united in marriage to Judy Anne Russell Childers on August 28, 1997. Roy is survived by his son, Roy Staphan Childers and wife Angela; his daughter, Dana Marie Childers; his stepchildren, Shannon B. Shaw, Kirk A. Shaw and Tonya A.
