Ronnie Lee Whitehead, 60, of Booneville, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2015, at North Mississippi Medical Center - Tupelo. He was born on February 25, 1955 to the late James Sidney and Ocene Lambert Whitehead. He was a self employed IT Tech and was a member of Charity Baptist Church. Visitation is scheduled from 1 PM till service time on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at New Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at New Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Jack Whitley and Bro. Gary Redd. Interment will follow in New Lebanon Cemetery. Pallbearers include W.R. Bates, John Bates, Daniel Stephens, Kenny Sims, Mark McAnally and Larry Baswell. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by a son: Ronald Whitehead of Tishomingo, MS; three grandchildren: David Whitehead, Jamie Whitehead and Jeremiah Whitehead; a brother: Jim Whitehead (Lanna) of Cairo, MS; a sister: Betty Sims (Kenneth) of Cairo, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his son: James Tracy Whitehead; his parents: James Sidney and Ocene Lambert Whitehead and his sisters: Eloise McAnally and Lynn Stephens.
