Ronnie Lee "Ron" Smith

Ronnie Lee “Ron” Smith, 68, of Corinth, MS passed away at his residence on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. Born in Gary, IN on February 16, 1955 to the late Marlon Smith and Jackie Creager, Ron worked as a crane operator for Ferrous South and will forever be missed by those who loved him. Visitation is scheduled for 5-8 pm Thursday, September 28, 2023 and 1-3 pm Friday, September 29, 2023 at Magnolia Funeral Home – South.  A celebration of Ron’s life will follow at 3 pm officiated by Rev. Mike Brown.  Pallbearers include Russ Howell, David Roach, Dwayne Roach, Wendall Wright, and Van Kiddy. Interment will be in New Hope Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Magnolia Funeral Home - South is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Ron’s memory include his daughters, Dawn Shoopman (Sam), Brandy Beane (Warren), and Amy Wilkins (Dusty Chism); four granddaughters, Alexis, Sydney, Kadence, and Faith; 1 grandson, Joseph; other relatives and many friends.
