Roger Dale Parker

A Celebration of Life service for Roger Dale Parker, 79 of Glen, MS, will be Friday, March 10, 2023 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East with interment to follow at Brigman Hill Cemetery.  Bro. Josh Westmoreland and Adam Fowler will officiate the service with Greg Moore delivering the eulogy.  Visitation will be Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M and Friday, March 10, 2023 from 12:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East.  Mr. Parker passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023 at his residence.  He was born February 8, 1944 in Corinth, MS to Conner Parker and Ruby Martin Parker.  He retired as a production planner at ITT after 35 years of service and was a member of Wheeler Grove Baptist Church.  Roger enjoyed his family and his grandchildren.  His family was his life and he loved them unconditionally.  He never met a stranger and would help anyone that needed help.  He loved fishing, doing bass fishing tournaments, deer hunting, working the farms , gardening and watching the wildlife flourish.    Roger is survived by his son, Brian Parker and wife Tracy; his daughter, Pamela Campbell and husband Chip; 4 grandchildren, Chelsey Parker, Lakelyn Parker, Colin Campbell and Rhys Campbell; mother of his children, Glenda Parker; sisters, Joan Isbell and husband Jr. and Patsy Hopkins; sister-in-laws; Carlean Parker and Robin Parker; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.  He was preceded in death by his grandson, Logan Parker, his father Conner Parker; his mother, Ruby Martin Parker; his brothers, J.C. Parker, Jerry Parker and Dave Parker and his brother-in-law, Greg Hopkins.  Pallbearers will be Sean Tyler Crowe, Ronnie Seawright, Wade Cornelius, Jr. Isbell, Hunter Hughes, Peanut Rhodes, Greg Moore, Chris Hopkins and Gary Altman. The family wished to express a special thank you to Dr. Leonard Pratt and Staff, Dyana Gates and Heather Williams and also to his sisters, Joan and Patsy for all of their help. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Roger Dale Parker.
